Addressing inequity and advancing the right to health to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response

The FCGH Alliance partnered with the Global Health Center, Graduate Institute Geneva to organize a seminar on a pandemic treaty on 5 November 2021. The seminar presented gave participants the opportunity to discuss and gain insights into the options and benefits of a pandemic treaty as well as explore the potential of a pandemic treaty address equity and the right to health as enshrined in the proposal for a FCGH.

In preparation for the seminar, members of the FCGH Alliance prepared a paper detailing how equity and the right to health can strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response. The Global Health Center published the paper as part of its Governing Pandemics initiative.
