How do we ensure full participation in the right to health?

From decisions on standards on quality of care to environmental policy, all people should be able to participate in decisions that affect their right to health. But how might this look in practice?

The FCGH Alliance has drafted articles on participation to spark discussion on possible paths by which states can ensure people’s meaningful participation in developing, monitoring, and evaluating laws, policies, programs that may impact their right to health. It envisions broad public participation in which all avenues of participation are accessible to all people.

You can find these draft articles (titled Part 8: Participation) here.
